For the first few weeks of it's existence, Perkins Realty Group was a group of.........one. That's a small group! As I mentioned last week, we are excited to formally introduce Mike Watkins as the newest agent to join. Mike is new to real estate sales but certainly not new to real estate. Having a distinguished 20 year military career as a decorated Army medical logistics advisor, Mike has had many personal experiences with real estate. Mike advanced through the officer ranks in various leadership positions and saw his employment take him to many places. Some of those moves included purchasing and selling real estate which got him to thinking about what he would be doing after he retired from the military.

To say that Mike is going to continue on his success in the military would be an understatement! Mike views his job as a real estate professional as helping families navigate through much more than just the home buying and selling process. He has impressed me with his ability to identify market trends, spot underrated neighborhood cuisine, local watering holes in different neighborhoods and even figure out what the school options are for different subdivisions. With his organization and tested negotiation skills, he is really going to be an asset for both locals and those new to the greater Louisville area.

My relationship with Mike goes beyond real estate. About 6 months ago he and his family purchased the home across the street.
