If you've been through the home purchasing process then you know a little bit about compromise. It's not just about look of the home but location, schools, neighborhood feel, etc. In fact, sometimes the "look" is the last thing on your list. People get comfortable with the areas that they want to live in and sometimes can't be persuaded to look somewhere new.
However, some folks are willing to go outside of their comfort zone and try out places that have an "up and coming feel." The Buechel area is just that. Over the last 20 years the area has seen some changes. It was once the "place to be" with a mall, movie theatre, and great restaurants. But things changed and those "hot" places closed-leaving behind beautiful neighborhoods with wide streets and mature trees. Luckily, with time and money, the area has begun to grow again and now there are just as many "hot" spots as before.
There is no longer a movie theatre but in it's place is the beginning stages of a the new Costco. And, once there's a Costco.....well...have you been to the one in the east end? Now is a great time to be buying in that area. There will soon be new construction all around breathing life back into the quiet streets. And where there is bustling business there is usually rising home values. Perkins Realty Group is luckily representing several different sellers in that area!
